- Deck design caters for a 25 ton point loading with axle centres of 2m.
- Deck size is 23.2 x 4.5m so it can be used for interlinks as well as articulated vehicles.
- Design caters for 50 ton loading per 5.8m module.
- Life Cycle Test 25 Ton Point Loading Module
- Design Life Cycle test is based on 500 trucks per day for 265 days, a life span of 20 years is achieved if the axle loading is within design criteria.
- Trek Scale Company has two robotic welding lines to ensure correct welding methods are followed at all times. All steel (S355JR) is locally sourced and carries a quality certificate from Arcelor Mittal.
Please note:
- Weighbridges in South Africa cannot exceed 60 Tons, unless a Site-Specific Type Approval is sought.
- 80 Ton Site-Specific Type Approval(s) can be sought provided that the correct documentation is in place. The lead time for the project is 120 days after date of submission of the project to the regulator.
- Any additional charges related to Site-Specific Type Approval or General Type Approval (if applicable), will be for the account of the Purchaser.
